TCP collaborates with the Tomorrow Trust
TCP has a proud heritage in South Africa and has been helping South Africans improve hygiene since the early 1900’s. OMEGALabs are extremely proud to re-launch this old favourite to the South African public and are excited to partner with the Tomorrow Trust on our launch. The Tomorrow Trust is a truly inspiring organisation making an immense difference with the youth of today. Our intention is to form a long-term partnership with the Tomorrow Trust, leveraging the TCP brand to help educate the youth of South Africa on the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. The launch day has been designed as a hands on event for members of the media and press to actively work with the children of the Trust. The launch will run a series of workshops with the kids guiding the learners through the importance of disinfecting both in the home and personally for hygiene. About the Tomorrow Trust
The Tomorrow Trust is a non-profit organisation that provides orphaned and vulnerable children and youth with holistic and academic support, bridging the gap in education and broadening OVC holistic knowledge in areas that are ill-equipped. ‘The Tomorrow Trust has noticed that children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds are not aware of hygiene, having a negative effect on both their health and wellbeing. We are seeing this manifest itself in ill-health and a lack of respect for how they function generally in their lives as children – this will no doubt affect them in their later years. In partnering with TCP we will educate the Tomorrow Trust learners and bring to their attention the positive effects of good hygiene, as well as academically link this to the holistic development of the children.’ Says CEO, Ms Kim Normand-Feinberg.
At the launch we incorporated creative crafts such as hygiene posters, creative writing and fun filled activities that will focus on the importance of hygiene. These are all important factors in the holistic education of our beneficiaries and we welcome this partnership with TCP.
